How do I repair burnt bulbs in 3rd brake light?
Big Renovation was being done to my beloved car, color changed, filter washed, then I decided to repair the 3rd brake light. I knew there were several bulbs burnt, but I just don’t have the time to disassemble the 3rd brake light until few days ago, i saw the incomplete brake light……
This is it. Is like incomplete set of teeth…. disassemble it, we see the bulbs.
I bought some red LEDs from Ap Liu Street….
Put into the bulb case. Looks alot brighter. 12V can carry 3LEDs, with a small resister..I need 24 LEDs on total, that’s 8 sets of these.
Pulling out old bulbs form PCB.
Put the set of 3 LEDs into the case. super bright.
that’s how the back looks like. I put all LEDs into the bulb case before soldering them to the PCB, the case can hold them in position. Let see how it works.
Yeah~!!! is done. Alot brighter and not orange-red anymore.
