  • Mobile cleaning process - SE T630

I saw Friend B's old mobile SE T630 the other day. It was so dirty that I couldn't stand it hence I took it home, opened it up completely and clean every part of it.

It looks normal, doesn't it? Let me open the battery cover and take out the battery first.

Yes..... you see................. by dirty, I mean dirty.....

I always clean 3C stuff with these........ see how it works.

Let me disassemble it first. Take out the melted rubber next to the camera, and take out the ring around the camera. I cleaned the rubber covered area after i took out the rubber, can you see the diff?

Then I unscrew the screws X 4. It's Torx 6 screws. Lucky that I got a Torx 6 screwdriver at home.

Pull up the back upper case with a flat screwdriver to release it.  Unscrew another 2 screws and we can see the speaker with a ball of dust on it.

the green PCB is the antenna. Before cleaning... after cleaning....

The back upper cover: before cleaning & after cleaning.

The front case.... before cleaning, after cleaning.

Partly cleaned...... The fast port was very dirty, too.....

The keyboard and the track point was messy. I gotta take it out by releasing the cable. That's the brown one. (Green one is for the LCD)

Keyboard, track point and speaker cleaned.

Last but not least.... the battery cover.

    Cleaned.

    Isn't it alot better?

Put the battery back into the phone.

This is not the 1st mobile I disassembled and cleaned for friend b..... I just cleaned her T600 2 days ago as it was again, too dirty.

After cleaning the T600, I started to like to disassemble mobiles as I can make good use of my T-6 screwdriver.
