Lunch Buffet at Il Bel Paese
Today Friend B and I went lunch at Il Bel Paese, Wanchai. Not the one on Queen's Road East, this is the new store at Hennessy Road.
We were rushing and i forgot to take pics at the entrance.
We sat by the window on 1/F. 1/F is for buffet.
The buffet includes soup, salad x 3, garlic bread, chicken, pasta, vegetarian dish and dessert.
didn't have soup, I had alot of salad and garlic bread. Salsad was ok, I had alot of Greek salad, with pepper, onion, olives and cheese cubes. Garlic bread with different kind of paste was tasty.
Afterall, salad = vegetables, I couldn't eat too much, let's goto hot dishes.
This is the chicken.... can't see............erk..........
On top: chicken, lower left: Pasta, Lower right: vegetarian - pepper with egg....
The pepper with egg thing.... (tasteless.........)
Pasta with beef. The beef was good, the pasta itself was too thick.
Dessert - Chocolate brownies with cream. Friend B had 5, I had 1.
I like buying take away from their Happy Valley shop, I was surprised when they start a new store in Wanchai. They said the lunch buffet is different everyday, and they have a la carte meal 1 level below. so weird, we are at 1/F but entrance is 2 floors below.... what's the level in between called?
Anyway~ Whoever likes Italian, give it a try.
