Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm F4 - 5.6
Since I got the E-P1 1/2yr ago, I didn't get any more lens for it as I found the 17mm F2.8 Lens is handy in most occasions.... most occasions......
Most occasions doesn't include traveling. When dad was using the E-P1 and he found out that he had to zoom "manually"........ he SUGGESTED that i should get a zoom lens for the E-P1.
I was waiting and waiting for the 2 new lenses from Olympus to come out..... 9-18mm and 14-150mm. At first I only want to buy the 14-150mm lens as I am really aiming for a "zoom-able" lens. However more and more I carry the E-P1 aboard, more and more I feel the need of a wide lens.
Hence yesterday I went and brought back home the 9-18mm wide lens.
It was announced in Jan, 2010 but it didn't come out till END of April........ that's what they call 1st quarter of 2010.18-36mm for 35mm equivalent. with worldwide warranty.
The box isn't big, neither is the lens.
I've never used a camera with changeable lens + zoom lens... I am totally new with this.
Compare with my F-01A mobile, it is so short. really light, too.
and 18mm. F18. this is actually slightly closer than 17mm.
The color of this lens is brilliant. Even prettier when see it in full size.
Now i don't have to worry about taking landscape pics ~
