  • going to kuji - stop 1 Tokyo

    930am i left Hong Kong with uncle, aunties and cousin to tokyo. Purpose of this trip is to goto kuji, where there is a amber museum.

    we took CX548 to tokyo.

    the flight was new and we were all super excited + tired. i woke at 6:xxam....


    Was super busy after landed,  no chance taking pics. i haven't immegrated from Narita airport for so long. i don't recogn the airport at all.

    Cousin M bought jap rail passes for us. we gotta goto ticket center to get the pass then we can enjoy JR as many time as we like during these 7days. After getting the pass, we had seats reserved for Nex 34 to tokyo at 1548.

    Nex 34 was coming..............

    wasn't it raining in jap??? it was super sunny,...........

    In nex.

    tookof at tokyo station, the hotel is directly linked to the station. we don't have to see the sun at all.

    Very nice hotel.

    Cousin  M and uncle are in room 1617. aunties are in 1618.

    I am in 1605. a single room.

    The room is  nice.

    Can see the rail form the room. i was so excited seeing tains running .

    We asked hotel to book places for dinner for us and we were having unagi for the 1st night. we gotta goto ginza. Taking tokyo matro, marunouchi line. 1 stop to ginza form tokyo.

    the main shop of this unagi place was full so we booked for the ginza shop. is called noda iwa.

    We had sets with a lot of unagi. app.: unagi + jelly and sea weed

    then, roast unagi.

    Steam egg with unagi and shark fin. japanese are not against eating shark or shark fin at all.

    main dish. unagi with rice.

    uncle and auntie A got a bigger set with more unagi and rice came seperately. we had regular unagi and rice.

    Dessert: melon. super sweet. look at the spoon. with teeth.....

    after dinner we went for a walk. aunties went to buy eye med while cousin M and I went to sony building to confirm tomorrow's lunch reservation. Sony building is haveing a 3D exhibition for okinawa aquarium. they put a huge tank outside the building.... with sharks and everything.....

    Left ginza, got back to tokyo. still wanna walk abit.....

    we saw a nice bakery... and i had an ice cream... just ice, no cream.

    be honest, they finally went into the bakery and had some more desserts.

    The place is very stylish.

    done eating... gotta go home... i was so tired i can't even enjoy the unagi..............

    View from my room is excellent.

    have a good sleep, next day is another long day.
